Dune rebuilding has begun from Staten Island to Montauk. No substantial long term plans have been put forth for the barrier islands that protect the citizens of Mastic Beach and the Peninsula. There is 1 billion in Sandy Relief Funds to rebuild the Barrier Islands. We want our share.
